Christmas in Cayucos combines holiday festivities with a special open house evening to connect with community and support Cayucos businesses.

CHRISTMAS IN CAYUCOS
TREE LIGHTING
Join us for a magical evening as we celebrate the holiday season in the heart of Cayucos! Gather with friends, family, and neighbors for a festive tree lighting ceremony complete with warm refreshments and holiday cheer.
Activities Include:
Carolers from Cayucos Community Church, spreading joyful holiday melodies.Lighting of the Tree—watch as the holiday lights come to life!
Special Arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus, riding in on fire engines to delight kids of all ages.
Visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus—children are welcome to share their Christmas wishes and snap a memorable photo.
Bundle up and bring your holiday spirit for an evening that’s sure to make this season bright!
Volunteer Call for Christmas in Cayucos!
We're looking for volunteers in the following areas:
Carolers & Musicians – Bring joy to our community with your voice or instruments! If you love singing carols or playing festive music, we'd love for you to join our holiday entertainment lineup.
Transportation Volunteers – Help us shuttle guests the short one mile stretch up and down Ocean Avenue. Do you have a shuttle, flat bed, golf carts, or anything else? We'd love your help getting those around town to enjoy all the festive cheer.
Sponsorship Opportunities - Become a Sponsor and help make this event magical! Your generous contribution will directly support activities, decorations, entertainment, and community outreach for Christmas in Cayucos. Free Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides—Take a magical ride through town, enjoying the sparkling lights and holiday scenes.
Kids’ Craft Workshop—Stop by for some hands-on holiday creativity that kids can take home.
Snowy Play Area—Experience the magic of snow for a true winter wonderland atmosphere!
Complimentary Refreshments by the Cayucos Lioness Club—Warm up with holiday treats as you explore.
